Administrative Exceptions
Applicants who are granted an Administrative Exception may meet a supporting document requirement via alternative means.
Applicants may explain why they cannot meet a supporting document requirement by requesting an Administrative Exception (AE).
AE requests are submitted via the ‘Administrative Exception’ tab within the AIMG Program application portal. To access the AIMG Program application portal, click the ‘Apply’ button at the top right of the home page. A ‘Profile’ must be created and complete to access the AE tab.
Please note that AE requests will not be accepted after the AE request window is closed. The AE request window closes prior to the online application Profile being locked. This allows for AE request processing which may impact how requirements are met.
NOTE: Do not use this process for English Language Proficiency (ELP) testing exemption. All ELP exemption requests are submitted via the 'ELP' tab within the AIMG Program application portal. To access the AIMG Program application portal, click the Apply' button at the top right of the home page. A 'Profile' must be created and complete to access the ELP tab.
