Administrative Exceptions

Applicants may explain why they cannot meet a supporting document requirement (i.e. cannot share exam results on physiciansapply.ca; unable to provide supporting documents as required).

Administrative exception requests open at 9:00 AM MDT on May 15 2020. All requests must be completed through this online Administrative Exception Request survey.

Applicants are required to complete this survey providing details explaining why they are unable to meet the application requirement. The deadline for this step is 3:30 PM MDT on July 3 2020.  No requests will be accepted after this date in order to allow for processing.

It is recommended that applicants who require this option, do so AFTER submitting the online application.

Upon completing the Administrative Exception request, you will receive an email confirmation that will include the Administrative Exception option you have chosen and provide you with the alternate methods of providing proofs (if applicable).

Your request will be reviewed and taken into consideration by the File Review Committee.

There will be no extensions provided to the supporting document submission deadline.

NOTE: Making a request for an Administrative Exception does not alter the Important Dates and Deadlines which all applicants must adhere.
